Certainly if you are hungry this is also a great place for lunch/dinner - the sandwiches are legendary and large - easily split between two people. Crowded and hard to navigate easily, this was just as it should be in a deli/store such as this! Wonderful. ![]() This place is crowded and packed tightly with shelves, display cases, people handing out samples and customers. We are foodies, so we went to Zingerman's as well and spent nearly an hour shopping for those little unusual finds that do a happy dance on your tongue. If you plan to visit for the first time- do so on the weekend and get the full experience. There was no farmer's market on the day we visited - and that was too bad as this area bustles when the market is open. It takes just an hour or so to go through it all, unless you're one to stop in all shops and touch all things.then, maybe two hours. Glad we did!!! There is something for everyone - gourmet food/shops, paper goods/art supplies, artisian shops and clothing stores - though there are not as many shops in the building as I had thought/hoped. Table games abound here, as do slots, and the rest of the facility is impressive by most any standard. We haven't been to Kerrytown in a long time so decided to visit with out of town friends. It is all but impossible to talk about casinos in Michigan without considering the Soaring Eagle, one of the first such entities in the Lower Peninsula in Mount Pleasant. People are always friendly and it's nice to see the bustle in this diverse and eclectic college town. ![]() We visit Ann Arbor two or three times a year and love wandering the downtown streets and small shops, the campus and museums and also some of the nice small parks dotting the city. ![]()
